Cake...yum, yum!
So, we haven't decided on a cake style...but we have our cake lady! Her name is Jean Kasper and she's actually the mother of one of my friends from high school. She lives in Chilton and she's the sweetest, nicest lady. She wouldn't even give me a price estimate because she wants to "work with our budget."
We're gonna wait until it gets closer to meet with her and decide on style, but we're planning on a 3 tier (chocolate, poppyseed and marble)cake with (edible) red roses as decoration. As I mentioned, my Aunt Sandy is letting us borrow the cake-topper from her wedding...sooooo we're all set.
This is a cake she made recently (with purple frosting flowers) for my friend Chris' wedding...beautiful eh?
Look at this delicious cake!

Looks good, sounds good and I am sure it will taste Very Good !
I've never had one of Jean's cakes, but she does a beautiful job decorating and really puts a lot of thought into what she does. I think she'll do a great job
Another task you might want to add to your list, when you have spare time, is cake cutters and servers, as one knows, alot of happy eager cake eaters will be attending your day of celebration, and the vampires will also be out that weekend, and please have red velvet cake tooooooooo !!
This site is one of the best I have ever seen, wish I had one like this.
